A few pictures and a post about our baby...

This baby in my belly....

Has been a little sassy to D (oh wait, that is me...but I am blaming it on the pregnancy :)
Loves peanut butter.
Does not like eggs.
Is making the guessing game hard (boy/girl??)  This pregnancy has been totally different than the other two which were opposite in every way.
Is still making me nauseous.
Is kicking and moving and big enough that I can feel.
Is almost 18 weeks along.
Is making me a complete airhead.
Is making Veva believe that everyone has a baby in their belly, and she is not afraid to ask to see yours. Please don't be offended...
Is not going to be easy to name.
Is already so loved and dreamed about (literally.)

Happy Birthday!!

Today my baby turns one!! What a whirl wind of a year.  It flew by.  Last night D and I reminisced on what we were doing a year ago, when our sweet baby boy was born.  I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Murdock is such a joy in our lives.  He is sweet, happy, opinionated and independent.  He certainly knows how to hold his own when it comes to interacting with his sister.   He has the funniest grunt and growl and he uses it when he wants something, or when Vev takes a toy away from him, or when he is just mad.  He started walking at 10 1/2 months, but has really gotten good with it in the last week.  He can out-eat all of us, he loves to babble and say a few words.  He said "dog" and "cat" before he said "momma" He says "More."  He says "dada" first thing in the morning and whines "momma" when he is tired, hungry, sad, or in need. Dock love babies. He loves Veva and laughs at her all day.  He lets her sit on him, push him over, feed him, hold him, and wrestle him to the ground. Dock has bright blue eyes and blonde hair.  Since six months old he has been in the same size of diapers as his sister and consistently trailed one pound behind her. Almost daily I get comments about how much he looks like D.  Even yesterday in the grocery store I had the two kids and the cashier looked at Dock and then at me and said, "He must look like his daddy."

We love our little guy.
I can't imagine life without him.
Happy birthday sweet boy!

My sweet Vev.

Remember when my baby turned two?  Like a month and a half ago.  Well, I finally got around to taking round one of her two year old pictures.  We need a second round because I didn't get a single one of her looking at the camera and smiling, and I need to capture her sweet curls, but her hair was up the day I decided to snap a few.
We ventured out to the backyard while Dock was taking a nap.  However, Vev was more excited about the fact that she discovered a way to peek on the neighbors,
And the dog barking on the other neighbors lawn,
And playing on the new playhouse/slide/climber she received from Grandma and Grandpa for her birthday,
And begging for cheese after I'd said "say cheese" 300 times.
"I want some cheese, Momma!"
But that is okay, because that is my Veva.
And I wouldn't have her any other way.
