Veva will forever be my baby. Even when she is 16 and getting ready for her first date.

She brings so much joy to our home. She really is such a bright and cheery little one. We are so lucky to have been blessed with such a wonderful child.

Just when I think I am loving the stage we are in and wondering how life could get any better she grows up and becomes even better. However, I am absolutely loving this stage and am sad to see it go so quickly. In two months her life will be turned upside down. She is a such a momma's girl and loves attention. I thought that maybe she would be young enough when he came that it would be an easier transition. I don't think so. She is fully aware of what is going around her and opinionated about everything! She won't be oblivious to another child entering our lives and she wont be oblivious to sharing her mommy.

Veva is a smart little cookie. She says "Grandma" and "Grandpa." Grandpa is by far her favorite word to say. As soon as we start up the hill to my parents house she starts chanting it. She says "Night-night" when she is ready for bed, she says "no-no-no-no-no" when I say "no-no-no-no-no" She says "Momma" and "Dada" of course. She says "doggy" and LOVES dogs she even started barking like one today! She says "more" when she wants more food and "aw-done" when she is finished. She signs baby, but doesn't say it and LOVES babies. She snuggles any baby doll or stuffed animal in sight. She loves to read and brings me different books all day long to read to her. She is an awesome sleeper. If we don't mess up her schedule she sleeps 12 hours at night and takes two one hour and 20 min. on-the-dot naps during the day. Yes, she is a gem. We are all sane and happy because we all get our sleep! Veva is a little performer and loves to ham it up and make sure everyone is watching her. She is walking and crawling. She'll take the plunge on 7 or 8 good steps then squat down and crawl. She is a little speedy crawler and I think that walking just slows her down too much for her liking. Veva is bottle free. She is officially on cups and sippys only. She had a nice smooth transition. If you are sitting on the ground she will come and sit in your lap. No matter who you are. She will probably bring a book with her to have you read to her. She loves to lay down next to us if we are laying on the floor. She loves her toys, especially the ones that play music. She loves chairs. She loves to sit in little ones just her size and feels so proud when she gets onto them all by herself. She loves to pull out every drawer and shut the cupboards so they make a loud noise. Veva has the funniest fake laugh. I think the funniest thing about it is that it is my laugh. She imitates it fairly well! This girl is a ball of fire and has more energy and curiosity than I knew possible. She keeps me busy and wears my heavily pregnant body out! But I wouldn't change it for the world.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

My Grandparents were in town for three weeks, then my sister came for two weeks. We've accomplished a lot in the last month! I turned 24 and Veva wil be 1 later this week. Stay tuned for her birthday update.

I am 31 weeks pregnant and my sissy is only 5 weeks behind me. We went out and did a photoshoot of each other.
