Today is a gloomy day.

My dear friend Hillary reminded me about the beautiful scenery, and the fact that I hadn't taken any pictures. Therefore, Vev and I went out today to work some magic. It has been a while since I have used my Macro lens, and its takes some getting used to...but it wasn't long before I was rekindled with its wonder. I love my macro.

I couldn't narrow it down any more than this. Happy Fall.

A Change of Heart

Something happened 5 days ago. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I thought I would give it a few days before I got too excited. Well it is sticking.

Veva LOVES bath time. In fact, she is serious about bath time. She kicks and wails her arms vigorously the entire time! She concentrates really hard on her efforts as well.

This was one day to the next. Hates bath time - Cannot get enough. The first time she enjoyed it she cried after I took her out, until she fell asleep. Next time I let her stay in longer. She even wrinkles, the true sign of her love.

Bath time provides some serious exercise for this little one.

Am I dreaming?

I Love Fall...

The decor, my closet, the weather, the colors, the scenery.

Veva Standing. She loves to be on her feet...

balance a little iffy...

hehe. D couldn't believe I let her fall while I took pictures :) Is this next picture hilarious or what!? No tears.

Proof that she is mine. This picture looks JUST like a picture of me. I'll have to post it when I find it. It is all in the eyes though. It probably looks like me only because she is covering the rest of her face.

Before V was born I was sure she would LOVE bath time. What baby doesn't?? Plus, She was a pretty mellow baby in the womb, not a crazy kicker, then when I would take a bath she would go crazy! I thought this was a sign that she loved the bath. I think I was wrong. Perhaps she was kicking because she wanted me to get out as soon as possible.
Nowadays she doesn't put up a fuss in the bath but she doesn't kick or smile either. She just sits there and stares at me, perhaps a little confused.
So, in an effort to teach her to love water we took her swimming to some hot springs. We loved Miracle Hot Springs. It was so relaxing. She enjoyed her self...kind of. At least she wasn't crying. But she just look at us like..."is this a big bath tub?"

Next, I tried a new method of bathing. We have seen some improvement. More leg and arm movement. Not quite a smile and certainly no squeels of excitement, but we are on our way. Slowly, but surely.

Sweet Baby.

A wonderful family in our ward recently had a baby, so I offered to take a few pictures. She was soundly sleeping until the camera came out! That always seems to happen. :) Its hard to believe that Veva was once as tiny as her! I think they will be great friends.

The big brother.
