Pregnancy Update.

Thanks to D for the artistic camera shots...he's truly a natural.

I am now 27 1/2 weeks, really starting to pop, and super busy getting things ready. Time is flying so fast - this baby is going to be here before we know it! I have been very busy with work, clogging, Jr. Miss, home & family, Church, and the Folk Dance Festival. If I can make it through May and survive I can do anything!

Yard Work.

We have loved having a yard to beautify. It is completely fulfilling to spruce things up a bit. Since Spring is just recently beginning here, we have been getting out in the yard more. We have lots of plans with the landscaping that we're excited about as well as plans for a garden (we'll see how it goes!)
After D's golf tourney, which he and my dad won $100 at (doesn't getting paid separate the pros from the amateurs?), he got on to mowing the lawn. His shoes are evidence of the golfing...

One thing we both agreed on when we moved in was that these two MASSIVE trees in the front needed to go. We didn't like them and apparently our neighbors didn't either. Only a month after we moved in the neighbor came over to talk to us about our trees. He said he would be happy to cut them down for us and even replace them with something a little more appealing and not so obstructive (to his fence!). We thought this sounded great...and it has been. The trees are now just stumps that will soon be completely gone! For a few days we'd watch as the neighbor would cut down branches and eventually went up as high as he could safely reach. Then one Saturday the whole neighborhood got involved with a tractor, rope, and chain saw - down came the first tree!! the second tree has since come down as well. Everything looks much nicer and cleaner. By the end of that day the neighbor had the whole tree cleaned up off our yard and the road, and had even mowed our lawn, with one of the 25 lawn mowers in his yard (no joke, I have counted)!! They are great neighbors...rough around the edges - but don't let that fool ya!
Going, going, going...

Down.

The after math.

Did you notice how huge the tree is?!? look at the people, cars, and houses in the pics. HUGE!

Weekend Projects.

Well it hit me last Thursday that I only had 15 weeks left, now only about 14, until the baby comes! ah! Seems so soon, and time is flying!

So I got excited and wanted to make more decor for her room. this was one of the projects for her room. One day I'll post her bedding, which turned out wonderful!
I only wish pictures did justice.

25 Weeks Prego.

Well, I suppose its been about 5 weeks since I last posted a picture and boy does a lot change in 5 weeks!! I'm poking out. Loving it. Cannot get enough of her kicks. Will stare at my belly for long periods of time because of the thrill of seeing it move!! I love being pregnant. Absolutely a miracle. But cannot wait until she's here.
So here I am in all my hot-pregnant-bod-glory. (Joke.)

I take my glucose test today...not real excited about that - but thinking my chances are low of have the gestational diabetes because I am hypoglycemic.
