Baby, where art thou?

No, I am not sucking in. I really wanna show! I thought I would be buldging by now. Two months ago I thought I was showing a lot. Just when I think I start getting a cute little belly, I go pee and its gone! I would love to have one of those cute lil' basketball babies, where you only look prego from the side...but probably not going to happen for me. I am only 5'4 1/2" but I do have a long torso so I am afraid she has many places to go inside of me, she doesn't need to push out yet. Don't get me wrong, I cannot do the button on my jeans up, and my shirts are getting short-mainly because I am growing else where. 20 weeks. Thats what about 5 months? Is this normal? Well, maybe a cute belly next month.

Belly or no belly, what a blessing it is to be pregnant.

New life.

Isn't new life fascinating?! Newborns don't do a lot outside of eat, sleep, cry, and dirty diapers...but you cannot help but stare in amazement at the sweet baby. At least that is how I feel. I cannot get enough of the precious little ones! Miracles do happen.

Indoor photography is not really my thing. I don't have enough equipment, but we made the best of it!

These two are best friends already. Cousins. Only days apart.

Happy Valentines.

Hope you had a great Valentines day!! We spent the weekend eating, dancing, sleeping (with my new body pillow...Thanks D, I am not a side sleeper, but this seems to have solved my sleeping woes), cooking, working, and finally relaxing.

I love Valentines day. It is such a happy holiday!

I know, I know, its a picture of us which rarely happens. Do we look tired? We are.

ALSO...we find out what we are having on Wednesday morning. SO excited! Cast your vote in a comment. We are torn. I say its a girl. D says its a boy.

*sigh*

I'm exhasted...but I wouldn't have it any other way!

I love to be busy. I get this from my Mother...sometimes I wonder if it is a blessing or a curse.

this last week has been crazy! Between holding down Ma & Pa's fort, feeding the missionaries, taking and editing pics for the community play-Fiddler on the Roof, editing engagement pics, visit from Kara, visit from Rachie, visit from Trish (D's sis) for the weekend, attending the play, chaperoning a sweet sixteen birthday party for the neighbor girl, cooking yummy meals, teaching clogging, working overtime, doctor appointment, watching my lil bro (okay...really no energy exerted on this...he is so easy), making valentine goodies, planning a baby shower, planning an Elder's Quorum Luau (yes, he needs his wife's help), taking newborn pics of the sweetest lil' boy, and planning some sort of Valentine's singing time for Primary. I nearly had a breakdown...but I couldn't. There was too much to do!

I really do love packing my life...I do it to myself, but then I love a rest from it all.

here are a few pics from the above events!

just a small sneak peek at this little one. Isn't he precious?! The day he was born made my pregnancy much more real!! A baby really does come from that belly. You are not pregnant forever!...and Hill & Mike are the sweetest parents to him.

Moved in.

We left our quaint town for the big city this week. My Mom & Dad took off for a getaway and asked if we'd hold down the fort. This morning when I woke up and rolled over to see the time - I was greeted with this, and a flood of happy feelings overcame me! Today is already a good day.

When my mommas (as she is affectionately called in our home) initially asked us to do this - I knew right off that there would be perks. My mom will give out a million but won't take a favor from anyone. Two words - Grocery Money. When she gave me her "budgeted money" for the week's grocery shop - I knew it was going to be a great week. First things first - a trip to the grocery store. Amidst the fun I had planning expensive meals for every night I managed to accomplish the following -
My own milk. Two kinds of milk rarely happens, but on mom's budget...anything can happen. Oh, and frozen OJ? Nah, I'll pay 6 bucks.

Martha did manage to sneak in - this edition...a little disappointing.

I even bought fresh strawberries...out of season and expensive. mmmmmmm.

The expensive cheese, lots of produce, extras we could do without...you get the point.
Meal plan -
Monday night - Fajitas with homemade Guacamole (Thanks Jeremy for the killer recipe - I'll post it sometime), Homemade salsa and all the fixings. (they were good.)
Tuesday night - Taco B. (Not Taco Bell people - The one and only Taco Bandito)
Tonight's menu - Italian chicken, asparagus wrapped in prucschetto, sauteed onions. To top it off - goat cheese & a french bagette on the side. Thanks Mom, the money is going to good use. Enjoy the 80 degree weather. We are jealous...kinda.

P.s...for those of you who asked.

This is the full thing on the wall in my craft room. I love this quote, in fact I love this whole talk by President Uchtdorf.
Go HERE for the entire talk, given November 2008 - all about creating (not crafty creations either) & compassion. Yes, the "y" on "only" is missing...it's being reprinted.
My sis & I designed it, the vinyl was printed by THIS amazing company.
P.s did you win their giveaway? Today is the day! Also, going to the Parade of Homes in St. George? Keep an eye out for Legacy Signs Vinyl in the homes!! (I love the Parade of Homes in St. George.)
