Well, i'm still trying to unpack everything and I have felt like i'm "Skipping Christmas" (or "Christmas with the Kranks" if you have never read the book version), no Christmas tree, no lights, no decorations, no Christmas music. Amidst the depressing state (although happy that we are in our first home!!) a breath of fresh air appeared when Josh Groban's CD that Deidra sent me last year fell out of a box. Who would have known the difference that CD made to my day, and unpacking. Thanks Deid. The gift made my day and helped me get in the Christmas mood.
The banquet is put on by the Alumni Office, where I worked for the last couple years. We owe a big shout-out to Jeremy for getting us the best seats in the house!! (thanks Jeremy...you're the bomb.) We were only a couple feet from President & Sister Uchtdorf, and President & Sister Clark.
The commencement services were just great! It is such a blessing to hear from the Brethren and be enlightened by their messages.
V.P. Eyring giving a speech at convocation. He gave out diplomas to the College of Business & Communications
Graduation presented a neat opportunity! Thanks to our family who came up to support Donny! I think we were all edified and uplifted by the wonderful messages shared. We feel so blessed to have attended BYU-Idaho.
The day after graduation...
A HUGE thanks to everyone who helped us pack and unpack! And thanks dad for the free moving truck!

I get so much fulfillment from "making my own." This edition of homemade goodness, was quite exciting. A book! It was a lot of fun as well! As soon as I found out Gena knew how to make books I jumped on the opportunity to learn. I literally started from scratch...tore the paper, cut the board, sewed it together...you get the point. If you ever have the opportunity, you should make one too!
